I’ve become aware of my tongue

(In case you didn’t get it, the title of this post is a reference to perhaps the greatest Peanuts strip ever — which is saying something.)

Over at Geekdad, they’ve posted perhaps the MOST DISTURBING image ever seen. I haven’t been this creeped out since seeing the centipede catch the bat in that nature documentary.

The image is of a new type of fish parasite. If you can handle it, it’s here: http://feeds.wired.com/~r/wiredgeekdad/~3/xt96GBnYZbs/

If you’ve been to look at it, then there’s only one question to answer: picture book or early reader?

  1. Where is that ungodly screaming coming from and why won’t it stop? Wait a minute… it’s me!

That whole thing was made even freakier by the fact that, besides the tiny tongue-eating lobster that was living in its mouth, the fish in that picture seemed to be sporting a row of human teeth.
