Here’s a little something about my shelf partner, Ruth Riddell.
| PZ7 .RIDD |
Riddell’s book “Ice Warrior” was nominated for the Rebecca Caudill Young Readers Award, in which students nominate then vote for the winner. (She lost to Flight #116 is Down.)
The School Library Journal had this to say: “Being your own person is the theme here, but this sometimes overstated message does not get in the way of the fine descriptions of iceboating at dusk or repairing a boat in a shed warmed by a wood-burning stove.”
Her other books include “Haunted Journey” and “Shadow Witch.”
I couldn’t find a Website for her. Ruth, if you’re out there, I’d love to hear from you. It’s been nice sharing a shelf with you.
